The KAIO series respirators work by creating a slight overpressure created by a flow of filtered air. The air, drawn in and purified through filters by a control unit, is sent through a tube into the helmet. The control unit and filters are worn on the belt.<\/p>\n
The helmet-mounted powered respirator is a ventilated device that provides combined protection for the head (EN397), face and eyes (EN166), and respiratory tract \u2013 from gases and particles \u2013 (EN12941). The adjustable internal harness secures the helmet to the forehead, providing greater visibility for the operator. The polyamide collar allows the helmet to be comfortably and efficiently closed around the operator’s neck. The powered respirator is designed to be used in both compact mode and with the control unit and battery on the belt. This is possible by changing the rear insert.<\/p>\n

Power supply<\/strong>: the respirator is powered by the tractor’s 12V battery via the SP9 cable. Lightweight and of simple design, it is comfortable to wear even in harsh working conditions.<\/p>\n LIFE<\/strong>: The use of carefully selected first choice raw materials guarantee a product average life expectancy of over ten years.<\/p>\n AIRFLOW INDICATORS<\/strong>: The sphere type airflow indicator monitors the flow rate to ensure the airflow in the system is maintained so workers are protected at all times.<\/p>\n HELMET<\/strong>: The internal harness, adjustable from 52 to 63 cm, secures the helmet to the forehead, providing greater visibility for the wearer. COLLAR<\/strong>: The polyamide collar closes efficiently and comfortably around the worker’s neck.<\/p>\n VISOR<\/strong>: Complies with the requirements of the EN166 standard: it is optical class 2 and resists particles with a speed of 120 m\/s. It provides over 90% visibility. The visor has been treated to be anti-fog and anti-scratch. Protective films, which attach to the appropriate pins, can be supplied as an accessory for additional visor protection.
